Eine kleine Nachtmusik & Requiem – Mozart
Mozart’s Requiem, made famous by the film Amadeus, is a moving masterpiece full of grief, hope and redemption – composed in his last days. The Bach Choir & Orchestra of the Netherlands brings this masterpiece to life with authentic instruments. Eine kleine Nachtmusik opens with one of the most famous melodies ever: a vibrant and elegant classic full of zest for life. Flutist Katja Pitelina also shines in the charming Flute Concerto in C, in which Mozart’s lyrical and virtuoso style comes into its own. And soprano Olga Zinovieva will move you with a heavenly rendition of Et incarnatus est from the Missa in C, one of the most spiritual moments in Mozart’s oeuvre.
